In July 2009, the MTM-CNM Family Conference Network hosted it's first Family Conference in Houston, TX. The Family Conference was WEBCASTED LIVE on July 25- 26, 2009 !!!

Mission Statement:

Our purpose is to unite all families who have been affected by Myotubular Myopathy and Centronuclear Myopathy because there is STRENGTH IN NUMBERS. We also seek to inform all families because KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

In July 2009, the first Family Conference was held to so that families affected by MTM/CNM could gather together to get clear, up to date information regarding research, meet one another for support, and for fun and fellowship.

This was an exciting opportunity to meet other families, bond with them, and create some life long friendships! It was also an important opportunity to meet and learn from some of the researchers who are hard at work to find the answers for us that will lead to the cure!
